Concurrent Disorders Treatment Program
Description
A mental health and substance use outpatient program designed for residents of Ontario ages 16+ whose health is affected by a diagnosed mental health concern and a substance-related disorder. An evidence-based, integrated approach is provided, which means that both mental health and substance use are treated at the same time by trained, clinical social workers and psychiatrists. A personalized treatment plan will be designed that identifies the individual’s needs and the complex relationship between mental health and substance use. This program is set up to allow for structure and to maintain recovery while continuing to function in the individual’s natural environment.
