On-site early intervention and crisis intervention needs assessment is a program used when no other private or public resource is available.
The Victim Crisis Response Program assists people in crisis 24/7 in the aftermath of a crime or tragedy. With a victim's consent, police will arrange for staff and specially trained volunteers to provide on- site assistance to victims and make referrals to agencies in their community. Crisis intervention can be provided on-site or via telephone. Victims of crime or tragedy can also call the program directly at 519-723-2711 for support.
