Description
Services at WRH's Emergency Department Triage can include:
- Assessment by an Emergency Physician to determine if your needs are medical, psychiatric, or both
- Psychiatric assessments and discharge/admission recommendations to the Emergency Physician/Psychiatrist by a Psychiatric Assessment Nurse
- Assessments and determinations by a Psychiatrist as to whether you will be discharged home or will require admission to the Mental Health Department for further assessment and/or treatment
